96 point - Tim Atkin: "Hyper-expressive on the nose, the glass unleashes fresh flowers, blackberries and balsamic. Well-measured acidic tension and pithy tannins jostle with the dense fruit crowding the palate. Though coming from the Chambolle side of the cru, this feels more Morey. The vintage character plus the concentration delivered by these almost 100-year-old vines both come into play."

92-92 point - Robert Parker, Wine Advocate: "From a parcel just above the quarry owned by Prieur, Lignier's 2022 Bonnes Mares Grand Cru exhibits notes of raspberries, licorice, rose petals and crushed mint. Full-bodied, supple and concentrated, it's layered and succulent, with good depth and cut, concluding with a saline finish." 

Benoit vinificerer så blidt som muligt, idet målet er at sikre vine med finesse og elegance. Druerne håndsorteres ad to omgange, både i marken og ved ankomsten til kældrene. 80% af druerne afstilkes, hvorefter Benoit foretager en kold maceration af 3 til 5 dages varighed. Gæringen foregår med både traditionel pigeage samt remontage, der ifølge Benoit gør, at gæren arbejder bedre. Fadlagringen, hvoraf 50% er på nye, franske barriques, varer 18 måneder. Siden 2002 har kvaliteten fået et gigantisk løft hos Domaine Georges Lignier. Stilen er i dag virkelig klassisk Bourgogne.
