94 point - James Suckling: "Fascinating aromas of dry autumn leaves, forest floor and mushrooms are underlined by dark-berry fruit on the concentrated and quite compact, medium- to full-bodied palate. Also notes of allspice and nutmeg. Long, linear finish with a crispness that suggest this has a long life ahead of it. Drinkable now, but best from 2026." 

93 point - Burghound.com: "This too is beautifully expressive and perfumed with its airy and cool yet entirely ripe nose that is comprised of subtle wood surrounding the very pinot-like notes of red raspberry and cherry along with a hint of forest floor character. The mouthfeel is once again gorgeous with a more sophisticated texture to the larger-scaled yet sleek and refined flavors that brim with minerality on the impressively long, well-balanced and very firm finale where a touch of austerity can be found. This could use better depth but this wine has an established track record of amply repaying extended bottle aging. Warmly recommended."

90 point - Decanter: "This 1.9-hectare monopole of the domaine was first planted in the 1950s. The 2022 vintage has an alluring aroma of pleasantly ripe black cherry fruit with hints of lavender and exotic black tea that continue with particular sucrosity on the palate. The texture is silky, supple, and bright with acidity due to the northeast exposition of the site next to Les Velley. The grapes are given a reasonably warm fermentation and aged for a year in cask (20% new)."

Uhyre elegant 1. Cru fra monopol-mark. Vinen viser begyndende modenhed i den intense og dybe duft. Fyldig og intens smag med elegante, spicy noter.
